We envision boys and girls becoming the men and women they were created by God to be - healthy, confident, whole adults who live full and meaningful lives.
Our dream requires community that pursues, with wisdom, the well-being of the next generation…community that works together to foster young lives in 5 important areas:
- Health & Physical Development
- Educational Achievement & Intellectual Development
- Emotional & Behavioral Development
- Moral & Spiritual Development
- Economic State
As an umbrella organization, The Eagle Foundation supports educational endeavors that reach and impact children and youth in these 5 dimensions of wellbeing.
In everything we do, our goal is two-fold:
- offer services that make a deeper, collaborative impact,
- meet needs that are not being met or not being met to potential.
OUR MISSION -
To accomplish our dream by the united effort of the Church and the community in meeting the needs of young learners, sustaining effective programs for long-term impact, and fostering a culture that naturally builds a healthy community for the next generation.
What we have accomplished -
- Opened EAGLE Learning Center in September, 2019
- Developed a 23-member team of mentors who teach and support students with competence and compassion
- Developed an after-school tutoring program that serves an average 70 students per week with over 90 hours of customized instruction
- Documented increased confidence, grades, and academic skills in the majority of our students
- Documented a functional increase in literacy skills for students exhibiting characteristics of dyslexia
- Established collaborative relationships with educators and counselors in local public and private schools
- Partnered with Strong-Huttig School District to provide dyslexia intervention for their students
- Made services possible for all students through donation and grant funded scholarships
